My Husband finally hooked up with my neighbor to get another Tattoo. Will post another of the finished product as it heals…
Another Old Lonely Barn That I liked and Captured
technicolour tuesdays
My Little one picked this cute lil’ clay pot of starter seeds from the $1 section in Target. She is amazed at how quickly they have sprouted. They are watered and cared for faithfully every day.
Marigolds to be … I used a Summer Elements Action on these.
. . . and the 85mm f1.4 Lens [rented from www.rentglass.com]
I NEED NEED NEED NEED NEED THIS LENS !!!!!!
I haven’t owned a prime lens since I purchased my Nikon D700. OH BOY! Did I mention that I NEED this LENS ! ? ! ?

OK, so this is a Red Winged Blackbird.
When I see these birds perched at the tips of the trees, in the early a.m.’s especially amongst the morning fog, this Poem by Edgar Allen Poe ALWAYS comes to mind.
TECHNICOLOUR Tuesdays
Our Monthly OUT-flow of $$$ has been Lightened. Owning 2 Motorcycles did not fit the budget. The Guys[2 on the left...Hubby is on the Right] that came out for the bike requested a Group Pic with the Bike. Extreme Darkness. I used my LED Light to guide my camera to locate a Focal Point. Together with Shooting RAW & some CS4 Magic, The Result is … well, Satisfactory.
Another Fabulous Senior Session
The Chilly Portion of our Shoot started with Indoor Studio Work. This Amazing Girl is a Natural in front of the Camera! We then moved the session to various locations in town. With a Smile Brighter than the Sun, She made this Too easy for me. The Camera Loves Her!
… and YES, She IS a Firefighter too!
TECHNICOLOUR TUESDAYS
Red Sky At Night, Sailors Delight . . .
“At night the clear sight of the red setting sun would tell a sailor that no storms are to the west.”
What a Great Sunset this evening. From the Color, To the Cloud Formations.
Technicolour Tuesdays
While my Beasties are shedding their winter coats, I do not allow them in my Studio. So today it was just Me & D.W. I am in the process of reorganizing the Studio. Here is a play with my Faux Wall & Floor setup. Shot with the Nikon D700 with the 70-200mmVR AF-S while using continuous lighting. Edited in CS4 using a great brush to provide the design on the ‘wall’.
Technicolor Tuesdays
I just LOVE LOVE LOVE these old Glass Doorknobs. When younger, I would admire the “diamond” doorknobs in my Grandmother’s house. It was then that I dreamed of having a house with ‘diamonds’ on all my doors.
The Real Gem is my Friend Lisa. They are in the midst of renovating their home. I mentioned when they are ready for new doors to remember my LUST for these Beauties.
THANK YOU LISA!!!! I can’t wait for the others!!!

“If, instead of a gem, or even a flower, we should cast the gift of a loving thought into the heart of a friend, that would be giving as the angels give”
