TECHNICOLOUR Tuesdays

Our Monthly OUT-flow of $$$ has been Lightened.  Owning 2 Motorcycles did not fit the budget.  The Guys[2 on the left...Hubby is on the Right] that came out for the bike requested a Group Pic with the Bike.  Extreme Darkness.  I used my LED Light to guide my camera to locate a Focal Point.  Together with Shooting RAW & some CS4 Magic,  The Result is … well, Satisfactory.

I had the MOST FUN with Miss A & Mr C .  Such a Delight to Photograph.  My Camera Just LOVED Their Eyes.

A Smaller Easter Egg Hunt that left many in Tears.  The kids expect to come home with a grocery bag full of candy.  I Prepped the girls to expect the unexpected.  Although they only found 2 eggs each,  we found it to be a great day to enjoy the park

It felt like such a Spring-like Day today.  So Christina and I decided to make a Spring-like Egg recipe.

Deviled Eggs -[these actually taste better than they look]

“Deviled eggs have been made since Ancient Roman times, though the first recipe for deviled eggs was not recorded until the Middle Ages in Europe. By the late 1500s deviled eggs were eaten throughout Europe, and by the 1600s the deviled method was considered a common way to prepare eggs. However, this dish was not referred to as deviled eggs until the term “deviled” was introduced in the late 1700s.”

Why is THIS Capture NOT a SNAPSHOT, but a PORTRAIT

A portrait is a painting, photograph, sculpture, or other artistic representation of a person, in which the face and its expression is predominant. The intent is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the person. [For this reason, in photography a portrait is generally not a snapshot,] but a composed image of a person in a still position. A portrait often shows a person looking directly at the painter or photographer, in order to most successfully engage the subject with the viewer.

While this WAS a Planned Capture,  I had a “Short Moment of Opportunity” to capture my Husband’s and Daughter’s Likeness in the way they walk . . .

Another Fabulous Senior Session

The Chilly Portion of our Shoot started with Indoor Studio Work.  This Amazing Girl is a Natural in front of the Camera!  We then moved the session to various locations in town.  With a Smile Brighter than the Sun,  She made this Too easy for me.  The Camera Loves Her! 

… and YES, She IS a Firefighter too!
